SUPR+ incorporates pure silver during the co-extrusion process (in the masterbatch) of any man-made fiber (Polyester, Polyamide, Polypropylene, …) It is also not nanotechnology, it is pure silver.
This silver based technology where we have infused the silver into the polymers and have kept the dyesites open so that it works as a 2 way street in taking the dye so it become dyeable and releases the silver ions through the same structure.
It is not a finish or treatment, so the silver will not wash off and lasts the life of the product.

Why +VE is so effective?
Anti-bacterial. SUPR+ interferes on an intra-cellular level of the bacteria, disrupting the DNA of micro- organisms on the fabric and effectively suffocating microbial activity.
Natural element: +VE is made with 99.99% pure silver, a naturally occurring element.
Anti-odor. The silver yarn inhibits the growth of odor producing bacteria. The silver ions also bind with ammonia and denatured proteins, resulting in bacterial odor reduction.
Dyeable. Our SUPR+ filament yarn and staple firms can be dyed in any color, even in white.
Anti-fungal. SUPR+ interferes with the reproductive sequence in fungal spore, which acts on the fabric structure to break down the textiles and reduce the functionality and performance of the fabric.
Permanent. SUPR+ is not a surface treatment. Silver is irreversibly bound to a polymer as a physical part of the fiber. SUPR+ is permanent and performance does not diminish over time. It been tested for more than 100 washes with virtually no reduction in anti-microbial performance.
